Today was my birthday. I was in the studio recording the entire time. When I went back to the lodging house for dinnertime, everyone threw me a birthday party. Yasu san cooked for me and became my mother for the day. A bearded mother.
And the producer played “Happy Birthday” on the harmonica while everyone sang. Since it was only men, they all sang in a low voice so it was weird. But I was really happy.
